Aswan Abdul Kadir is an accomplished leader with nearly two decades of experience in spearheading new departments, driving transformative projects, and implementing innovative strategies across the media and oil & gas industries. Known for his ability to turn vision into reality, Aswan specializes in aligning operations with strategic goals to deliver impactful outcomes.
Currently serving as General Manager, Business Operations, Sales & Marketing Support at The New Straits Times Press (Malaysia) Berhad, Aswan plays a pivotal role in spearheading corporate strategy and managing critical business units. His leadership has been instrumental in transforming NSTP’s operational landscape, including overseeing digital transformation, optimizing resource utilization, and driving cost efficiencies.
Prior to his current role, Aswan led numerous high-impact projects at PETRONAS Dagangan Berhad, including the pioneering Route-to-Market transformation, which redefined market approaches and enhanced operational efficiencies.
Aswan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, majoring in Management and Marketing, from Murdoch University, Australia, and an International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma in Business Studies from the United Nations International School, USA.
